COLLECTION: Infinity of Sadness

Grief, sadness, sorrow, misery….depression. These are all emotions we are familiar with. We can go to that dark place, sometimes we need to, it is perfectly normal. Our society puts too much effort on forcing our sorrows into tiny boxes, we hide our sadness, we swallow it, push it down, deny it. We literally bury our sorrows six feet under ground. We struggle to apply time limits or definitions to our sadness. We look to others to either validate or invalidate us, judge and dictate how we should behave when we are sad. It’s all perfectly normal. Grief can be a constant, a base level whereby the joys you experience are that much brighter and rewarding. Even at our most miserable, there is always something near that can make us smile.

What started as a single strand is now expanded into a collection. There is always light awaiting you. If you need help, please consider Refuge in Grief. It’s OK to not be OK. Carry Your Sorrows.
