Another extravagant and long strand inspired by the artwork of Michael Hussar; Morphine. We’re drawn to it, like a grotesque addiction.

Morphine also happens to be one of the most amazing bands that ever existed that we will sadly, never see perform live. Mark Sandman, the lead singer and two string bass player extraordinaire dies suddenly of a heart attack on stage at a festival in Italy in 1999. Devastating. There an an amazing and intimate documentary called “Cure For Pain” ….we had tickets to see them a few weeks after this horrible event. Their music is powerful, a style so unique consisting of bass, drums and saxophone, and that SWING, tho….it’s just beyond compare.

Description

We have recently fallen in love with howlite, a stone that represents the spiritual qualities of stillness, tenderness and open mindedness. Howlite blends so nicely with the sickeningly pale matte white jade, steely cool grey hematite and glowing black labradorite and the ghostly incandescent moonstone. This strand is grounding, healing, soothing and calming with just enough anchoring black tourmaline and obsidian to keep you grounded. It is completed with a hand set black jet etched scarab connector.
