This piece was created on April 7, 2020; The Pink Moon; The Supermoon, the first full moon of spring; the Paschal Moon. While we may have wished the moon to actually be “pink” its nomenclature is derived from the early springtime blooms of the coming “creeping phlox” (we like creepy), which also goes by the name “moss pink”. This was one of the most powerful Full Moons of the season because it took place in a “cardinal sign”.
