Prior to it being a political slight (imagine…”caring” about someone else’s unfortunate situation…*scoff*) if was regarded for a sincere outpouring of emotion. It’s admirable to have genuine feelings, being in touch with your emotions and embracing the for the sake of others is infinitely more attractive than a Still Upper Lip.
