Nemean was the lion killed barehanded by Heracles according to Greek lore. More importantly, Nemean is represented for eternity by the constellation Leo, and the sing of the Zodiac. Leo’s element is fire, they are stable and determined. It is said that their most compatible sign is Aries. (to which we can personally attest!) They are loyal, fearless, and incredibly self aware.
The sale of this strand will be donated to the Performing Animals Welfare Society to assist in their efforts to end animal captivity and save animals from a life of torture as part the animal performance industry in circuses and roadside zoos.

Tiger's Eye is said to provide perseverance in times of anxiety, and stress. We consider this in terms of the stress that captive performing animals experience.
