What is left to be said about David Bowie? What can be said by a mere mortal? He was never supposed to die. We have found ourselves really lost and out of control, falling through k-holes of various Tumblr pages and Reddit threads about Bowie’s last album Blackstar and how his intentions were so precise. The speculations over the messages he was trying to send to us are at conspiratorial levels. (Believe in the Strangest Things)
Bowie’s connection to the occult; magicians, (or magick…power crystals, et al) brings into context the effort and genius this man put into every last breath of his life and death. Bowie was everything. We had the unique pleasure of seeing him perform 4 times, was graced to meet him, and shake his hand twice. In 2019 we traveled to New York for a significant birthday and visited the “David Bowie Is…” at the Brooklyn Museum (permanent installation resides in London) Words cannot describe the depth of what it meant (means?) to be (have been?) David Bowie. He managed complete control over his entire life and career, and still maintains that beyond the grave, into the galaxies, as a BlackStar, godspeed Major Tom. It is amazing.
