The scarab is best known and identified with Ancient Egyptian culture – something we are inexplicably drawn to. It symbolizes transformation, protection, immortality creativity, strength, and resurrection. The bead sizes are fairly uniform, delicate and small which gives this piece a nice elegance. It can easily be doubled up and worn shorter, should that be your preference.

Genuine Swarovski crystal scarab beads of a deep forest green surrounded by chips of emerald, sterling silver stars, shiny silver hematite discs and faceted black spinel and smooth round black tourmaline and onyx. The strand is complete with an etched scarab in a silver connector setting, repurposed from a vintage bracelet.
Note: Swarovski is getting out of the “bead business” so these shiny little morsels are quite limited and becoming more and more so as supply is depleted. While it may be easy to source adequate replacements for standard shapes like bicone or multifaceted crystal beads for making jewely – once these scarabs are gone, there will be no more!
